Congratulations to Christine Post, Counselor II, for the WVU Parkersburg’s Jackson County Center. Christine has been selected as Employee of the Month for January.
Christine has worked as Counselor II at JCC since August, 1998.
Christine has been an active member on many of WVU Parkersburg committees which includes the Social Justice Committee, the Leadership Academy Graduate, Enrollment Management Committee, Student Engagement Committee, Strategic Planning Committee and Relay for Life Team Member.
Christine and her husband Vince have been married for 11 years and live in Parkersburg. They have one child, V.J. who is three years old. Christine enjoys spending her free time with her son and husband, family and friends.
Christine expressed here gratitude for being selected Employee of the Month.

“I would like to nominate Christine Post for employee of the month. Christine exhibits professionalism at all levels of her many responsibilities. She serves on many committees so she can be aware of all issues that might concern the Jackson County Center students and staff. She is always helpful in taking any packages or mail to the JCC campus and participates in many of the activities that are offered throughout the year here and the JCC campus. You can ask Christine to help in any situation, and she will try her best to find a way to help. It is a challenge to be on a distant campus and still finds ways to be involved on the main campus. Christine is always up to the challenge and does a great job on both campuses. She deserves the honor of receiving this important award!”

“I would like to nominate Christine Post for Employee of the Month. I do not know another employee at the college who does as many jobs as Christine. She works very hard and assumes many roles and is always willing to help anyone when needed. Christine is primarily at the Jackson County Center and we can easily over look everything that she does to help those students succeed and that center run smoothly. No matter when you see Christine she is always positive and upbeat. I feel she deserves our thanks and recognition for a job well done!”

We can count on Christine when leadership is required for a project. She is dependable and organized and she conveys a positive and supportive attitude. She is a wonderful advocate for our students and for the Jackson County Center. She has worked very hard in chairing the search for our new Dean of Student Services and has been a valuable contributing member of the Social Justice Committee for several years. She deserves our recognition for her efforts!”
