Congratulations to Edward Beatty, Campus Service Worker, who has been selected as Employee of the
Month for May!
Edward has been a member of the WVU Parkersburg Campus Service staff since March, 2008.
Edward lives in Wirt County, WV, with his wife Barbara. He is the father of three adult children. One child works for WVU as a Senior Accountant and one child is a WVU student.
In addition to working at WVU Parkersburg, Edward has also serve as the pastor of a church in Little Hocking, Ohio. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, travel, walking and writing.
Following is an excerpt from the nominations that served as the basis for Edward’s selection as Employee of the Month:
“I would like to take this opportunity to nominate Ed Beatty for Employee of the Month. Ed is another of the guys that works midnights, so they are never seen, but still very hard working. We see the results of his hard work when we show up the next morning. Being one of the first ones in, in the morning, I get to see Ed. He is always pleasant, and ready to offer a hardy good morning. Thank you for your consideration.”
