Congratulations to Jim Harper, Campus Service Worker, who has been selected as Employee of the Month for April.
Jim has been a member of the West Virginia University at Parkersburg staff since April 1988.
Jim and his wife Karen live in south Parkersburg. They have five children, Lisa, Linda, Jamie, Jennifer and Haley. In his spare time Jim enjoys hunting, fishing, and going to the mountains to visit his grandchildren.
Following is an excerpt from the nominations that served as the basis for Jim’s selection as Employee of the Month:
“I would like to take this opportunity to nominate Jim Harper, from the custodial department, for Employee of the Month. Jim is one of the people we almost never see, but his work results are always noticeable.
Jim will smile his sheepish smile at you and keep on moving to the next job if you ever do see him. He has been a fixture at WVU Parkersburg for many years.
I cannot think of anyone more deserving that Jim Harper. Thank you for your consideration.”
