Parkersburg
campus to host forum. The first live webcast to be
broadcast from WVU Parkersburg will be one of the unique features of
a forum with West Virginia University's president-elect on Tuesday
(August 7).

Appreciation Picnic. We hope that you all will be able
to join us on Wednesday, August 8, 2007, at high Noon in the
cafeteria for our Staff Appreciation Picnic. We will be
grilling hot dogs and hamburgers. We will also be having "give-aways".

Payroll
Deduction Winner. Patsy Bee, a payroll deduction
program participant, has won a gift certificate for 2 from the Blennerhassett Hotel
for its Sunday brunch buffet. It
is valued at $37. Prizes totaling $850 have been given
away during the last nine months. Payroll deduction forms are
available at the Foundation Office or by calling ext. 340.

SDPP
Deadline Is July 31.
Employees wishing to
participate in the Summer Deferred Payment Program (SDPP) are
reminded that the deadline to enroll is July 31. The new program
allows employees who work less than 12 months to withhold dollars
from their regular academic-year paychecks for disbursement during
summer months. Visit this

Hours.
Summer library
hours are
posted on the Library web site.
Hours for Fall term: Mondays - Thursdays, 8 a.m.-9 p.m.;
Fridays, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturdays 8 a.m.-4 p.m.; Sundays, CLOSED
with the exception of the last two Sundays of the term. The Library

Refund
Scam. Currently making the rounds of inbox email is one
purporting to be from the Internal Revenue Service. It is a
scam designed to trick users into revealing their personal
information, including Social Security and credit card numbers.
The subject line of the e-mail, reads "Refund Notice!" and claims to
be from "refund@irs.gov."
Please disregard and do not reply with any personal information.

Parkersburg to host talk by Egyptian novelist and human rights
activist. The college's Humanities Speakers Series will
host a free presentation by Egyptian novelist and human rights
activist Nawal El Saadawi on Tuesday, July 17, in the college

Richards has won a $200 gift certificate for a night’s stay in the
Presidential Suite and breakfast for two the following morning at
the Comfort Suites in Mineral Wells as a result of her enrollment in
the WVU at Parkersburg Foundation's Payroll Deduction Program.
Prizes valued at over $800 have been given away during the last
eight months. Payroll deduction forms are available from the
