Great American Smokeout.  Today is Great American Smokeout.  Please support this national day.  This is an important component of our $5,000 grant which students are enjoying the rewards.  Education about tobacco is our key to getting this grant again.  (Submitted by Charlene McNulty)

Flu Shots on Friday, November 17.  If you do not have a time scheduled, let us know if you want the flu shot.  The Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department is giving the flu shots 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m.  Come to the Advising Center and bring your PEIA card, Carelink card, Medicare card or bring $15.  (Submitted by Charlene McNulty) 

PTK Project.  Phi Theta Kappa students are collecting pink Yoplait labels until the pink lids are not available in the stores. The labels can be submitted as late as December but they should be off the shelves by the end of November. Thank you all for your support with the Yoplait labels. Yoplait donates 10 cents to breast cancer research for each label donated up to 1.5 million dollars. (Submitted by Dianne Davis)

Engagement Time.  Engagement time for Monday, November 13 will be a discussion on the new Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree. The program will be in Rooms 2536-38 from 11 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.  (Submitted by Kim Fluharty)

WVU-P Faculty Member to Perform at Art Center.  On Sunday, November 12, math faculty member Chase Brady will be a featured musician at the "Back to the Beat" coffeehouse at the Parkersburg Art Center. The event is held from 6:00-9:00 p.m.. There is a $5.00 cover charge.  (Submitted by Rebecca Phillips)
