After-Hours Drop Box. The Admissions & Records Office now has a drop box, in the left office door, for after-hours correspondence. Standard hours for the office will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The office will continue to provide extended hours during the week prior to and the first week of classes for the Fall and Spring semesters (8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday-Thursday). The office will also continue to provide extended hours on Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. during weeks two through six of the Fall and Spring semesters. (Submitted by Leslie Sims 11/21/08)
3-D Art Pottery Opportunity. The 3-D Art Department is sponsoring a Pottery/Bake and Soup Sale from 9 am. to 6 p.m., Dec. 1 and 2nd outside the Library. Works by students and faculty will be featured. Proceeds will go toward future art equipment, presentations by guest artists, and student field trips. (Submitted 11/19/08)
Staff Council Prize Patrol.
Staff Council started a new appreciation program in the fall. In a weekly drawing, two staff members receive a gift. This week’s winners are Fritzann Isenhart from the Children’s Room, and Tess Martin from the Testing Center. Each won a year's magazine subscription.
