Accessible Parking
The Disability Services Office (Room 1019) provides temporary accessible parking permits to qualified students. To obtain this permit, you must provide a medical report (on official stationery), signed and dated by an appropriate medical professional, that includes the following:
· a description of a specific diagnosis
· a statement that accessible parking is needed
· the length of time the permit will be required.
If the permit is requested for more than a month, you may be required to obtain a state permit issued by your home state. West Virginia residents may obtain the forms (that must be completed by a physician) from the West Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or from the Disability Services Office (Room 1019). The phone number for the Disability Services Office is (304) 424-8378.
